Charles Austen Angell is one of America’s most recognised industrial designers and innovation strategists, with over three decades leading design programs for companies including Intel, Procter and Gamble, Harley-Davidson, Medtronic, BMW, Johnson and Johnson, John Deere, and 3M. Founder and CEO of Modern Edge Inc. and EPIRA.AI, he served as elected national Chair of the Industrial Designers Society of America, is a Fellow of the IDSA, and an original Trustee of the Design Foundation. He presided over the establishment of National Industrial Design Day, entered permanently into the United States Congressional Record, and was the third signature on the landmark Design Professionals Amicus Brief before the United States Supreme Court in Apple v.
