The Burson-Marsteller Blog reports,”Twitter is the social media platform of choice among the Fortune Global 100.”
For Twitter to be the late comer to the scene and yet be the “goto” platform is quite an accomplishment. The study also noted that “65 percent of the largest 100 international companies have active accounts on Twitter, 54 percent have a Facebook fan page, 50 percent have a YouTube channel, and one-third (33 percent) have corporate blogs.”
Sorting out how to best express their brands through social media is where companies are struggling, and many are turning to brand and tech savvy design firms for help navigating through the different possibilities. “It’s not enough to understand the social media, you have to understand how users work with the technology and how the interaction best characterizes the brand.” Read more of the report.>>
